Assistant Manager Vacancy

What we’re looking for from you:

Ideally you have the following skills and experience – not all are essential as we’ll help with some training:

Management experience in a hospitality or other customer service-based business
Friendly, can-do attitude
Attention to details
High level of customer service
Ability to provide creative solutions to customer suggestions and conc
Staff management and training skills
Ability to act as ‘on call’ /sleep in for a number of nights per month
Good level of written and verbal English as well as Math
Solid computer skills, Word and Excel

What you will receive from us:

£28000 per year + additional £15000-2000 per year of gratuities
Approximately 45 hours per week
28 days annual leave

Job description:

To assist Hotel Manager with the direction and operational management of the front of house and housekeeping areas.
In the hotel Manager’s absence, the Assistant Manager is responsible for the Health & Safety for all front of house and housekeeping areas.
Monitor profit performance, taking appropriate action to achieve or exceed budget.
Produce reports as required, daily, weekly, monthly.
Sustain financial controls and administrative standards throughout the hotel
Track guest feedback mechanisms (onsite online and in the community), taking action to address issues, setting appropriate plans and targets within the team
Coach and motivate to a high standard of customer service.

Take ownership for operational comments made by customers and develop a team who take accountability for their own actions.

You can simply fill in your details and your booking will be automatically added to our booking system in the restaurant and you will receive an email confirming the time and number of guests.
